Terms of Service

This Terms of Service sets out the rules of use for "Minecraft-ServerList.com" ("Minecraft-ServerList", "our", "we", "us"). "Minecraft-ServerList.com" operates the https://minecraft-serverlist.com website, which provides the Service. 'Minecraft' is copyright of Mojang Studios and is in no way affiliated with this site, nor should it be considered a company endorsed by Mojang Studios.

Acceptance of Terms of Service

Each time you use or access Minecraft-ServerList.com or any sub domains, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, and as amended from time to time with or without notification. In addition, if you are using a particular service on Minecraft-ServerList.com, you will be subject to any rules or guidelines applicable to those services and they shall be incorporated by reference into these Terms of Service.

Our Service

Our Service is available to anyone, free of charge. You agree that the we exclusively reserve the right and may, at any time and without notice and any liability to you, modify or discontinue Minecraft-ServerList.com and its Services or delete the data you provide, whether temporarily or permanently. We shall have no responsibility or liability for the timeliness, deletion, failure to store, inaccuracy, availability or improper delivery of any data or information.

Uploading Content

When you upload or post content to our Service, you grant to us and shall ensure and procure that we are granted a perpetual, irrevocable, world-wide, non-exclusive, royalty free, transferable licence, with the right to grant sub-licences, to use, copy, edit, distribute, transmit, store, host, run, play, adapt, publish, re-publish, translate, publicly perform and display, create derivative works from, and do anything else whatsoever with, your content, for any purpose, and in, using, on or through any form, media, medium or technology (whether now known or later developed).

You agree, through your use of this Service, that you will not use this Minecraft server list to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a persons privacy, or otherwise in violation of any law. You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you. You must not misuse our Service by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not provide or use our service in any commercial manner or in any manner that would involve junk mail, spam, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or any other form of unauthorized advertising without our prior written consent. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our Service, the server on which our Service is stored or any server, computer or database connected to our Service. You must not attack our Service via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of service attack.

Server Contents and Information

By adding a Minecraft server to our Service, you agree that you are the owner of the server or that you have been given explicit permission by the owner to add the server. You may only create one (1) listing for the same server, multiple listings will be removed. Once a server has been added you agree that we can make periodic connections attempts to your server to gather and store data from your server and display this on our Service. This gathered information includes, but is not limited to: player count, server status and server version. Any content uploaded to our Service related to your server has to abide by the rules as stated in the section Uploading Content of this Terms of Service.

Server banners are meant as a way to attract users to your server, however rapidly flashing server banners are forbidden and may result in your server being removed from our Service. Banners may not confuse users into thinking they are part of our Service structure, for example by using our assets or imitating site characteristics. Judgment on any action taken is at the sole digression of Minecraft-ServerList.com.

Voting

You may vote for up to three (3) different servers in a twenty-four (24) hour period, however you may only vote one time per server within that period. Voting must be carried out on our Service by entering a Minecraft username and manually completing the Google reCAPTCHA verification. Cheating or attempting to cheat the voting system is strictly forbidden. Cheating violations include, but are not limited to:

  • Voting through the use of automated voting scripts, bots or programs is strictly prohibited;
  • Voting through the use a Virtual Private Network (VPN), Proxy or any means that make voting multiple times in a twenty-four (24) hour period possible;
  • The trading or sale of votes between different servers;
  • Encouraging users from from one server to vote for the the listing of another server

Removal of Server

We reserve the right to remove any server at any time with or without prior notice. We reserve the right to modify or remove individual server details without prior notice when they are deemed inappropriate, but not to the extent that warrants a complete removal of the server. A server may be removed from our Service for a number of reasons, including, but not limited to:

  • When abuse or fraudulent use of the voting system is detected;
  • Inappropriate server details are submitted or visible on any page of the Service;
  • Displaying a fake live player count on your server;
  • A duplicate of the server is uploaded to the Service (with the exception of duplicate submissions being one (1) Java Edition server and one (1) Bedrock Edition server);
  • A server was uploaded to the Service without the proper permissions of the rightful server owner(s);
  • Fraudulent premium purchases were made or were attempted

Premium

Premium and related options are services which can be purchased by users to further promote their server(s), which are available besides the services that are free for all users. Different premium options are available, which can either be purchased instantly (direct payment is expected) or can be acquired by taking part in an auction. Payments for any premium option can be made by using the payment service PayPal. Premium options are provided 'as-is' with no guarantee of uptime or server traffic included.

User Account

In order to use our Service, you must register on our site, and agree to provide truthful information when requested. When registering, you explicitly agree to our Terms of Service which may be modified by us from time to time. You are responsible to maintain the confidentiality of your password and shall be responsible for all uses via your registration and/or login, whether authorized or unauthorized by you. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use or your registration, user account or password.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate any user account and user submitted content and servers at any time with or without prior notice and with or without any reason.

YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF MINECRAFT-SERVERLIST.COM AND ANY SERVICES OR CONTENT PROVIDED (THE SERVICE) IS MADE AVAILABLE AND PROVIDED TO YOU AT YOUR OWN RISK. IT IS PROVIDED TO YOU AS IS AND WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, IMPLIED OR EXPRESS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
